Protect your body and feet with affordable custom-made orthotics
Flexible Custom-made Orthotics
When it comes to Orthotics, we at Supple Clinic are very selective.
Which is why we choose to wear and recommended flexible custom-made orthotics by Foot Leveler, a reputable company with over 70 years of innovation. We tried them all, rigid orthotics and over-the-counter insoles, but custom-made orthotics which have flexibility for dynamic and static support, are the best "all-rounder" in our opinion.

Foot Leveler products are much more affordable than rigid or semi-rigid orthotics (also called functional orthotics) available through a Podiatrist, yet they are just as durable and will last you years.

Orthotics for work. Orthotics for play.
Would you wear the same shoe to work and for play? If your answer is "no" then we recommend you have two orthotics - one for work and one for sports.

Consider getting one 3/4 length size orthotic which are designed to fit tighter shoes, including low heels and open-toe shoes.
The Foot-Spine Connection
Our entire body is supported and balanced by your feet. Therefore if your feet are pronated (as 99% of all people are), your body will suffer - starting with either the knee, hip or back.

When something goes wrong with one of our parts and we experience pain, and most people will use pain medication or have surgery. This in our opinion is a narrow view of solutions and care.

Here at Supple Clinic we understand the musculoskeletal system and like to treat the underlying causes and prevent problems from occurring. Since our feet are the foundation to our body, we offer Foot Assessments to assist your Physiotherapy, Chiropractic and Remedial Massage care.

Static Support
During a standing posture, the alignment of the arches in our feet has a significant impact on the position of the legs and pelvis. When the arches are low and/or pronating excessively, the knee will rotate. A research study using radiographic measurements found that custom-made flexible orthotics can significantly improve the alignment of the arches when we are standing.

Dynamic Support
When we walk, the foot must give a smooth transfer of the body's centre of mass over the leg to conserve energy, reduce muscle fatigue and lower joint friction. This requires an orthotic to be flexible yet supportive. The orthotic design must consider weight and intensity of forces, proper movement and function of the foot, and support of all three arches to prevent eventual arch collapse. When it comes to high impact sports, you want an orthotic that has high shock absorption and high propulsion.

Benefits from wearing Orthotics
